Erasmus Programs
The Universidad de Montevideo actively fosters student, teacher, and administrative staff mobility through bilateral agreements. As an institution of a non-European country, it has implemented over one hundred and twenty mobilities with Erasmus KA107 and KA171 programs in the past years.
The University is open to participating in new Erasmus+ projects funded by the European Union to promote education and training. It is aligned with the 2021-2027 strategy that focuses on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life (source).
Founded in 1986, Universidad de Montevideo (UM) is a non-profit organization committed to academic excellence, research, technological innovation, and social responsibility. Its main objective is to promote a culture of work and service through excellence in all educational activities. The University offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in the School of Business Administration and Economics, the School of Communications, the School of Engineering, the School of Law, the School of Humanities and Education, the Center for Biomedical Sciences, and the IEEM Business School.
The Universidad de Montevideo is a university with a Christian identity open to all faiths and beliefs. It is inspired by the teachings of Saint Josemaría Escrivá. His teachings include the value of work ethics, the spirit of service, the love for liberty, and the promotion of family values.
